Submit your Race Entries and Membership forms Online using the new e-forms

The club will be launching a new way to submit and pay for your race entries and membership applications online using our new e-forms. This new facility will be available to you early in 2010 and we believe you will find the e-forms easy to use, more convenient and less time consuming.

The new online payment system uses the well known and established PayPal which is known for its ease of use. You will find the new online payment facility by clicking on the Forms link on the Forest Edge web site when we bring it online.

Please continue to use the current forms for race entries and membership applications for the time being. These forms will continue to be available to you if you prefer using this method for submitting your entries.

Reserve your 2010 Race Number & Pit Space

We are looking for Club Stewards. They must have some knowledge of Karting and the rules and be available on race days at a moments notice (but not running a driver). If you are able to help please contact Carole Parsons on 01258 451097.

New Start Process

The August race meeting saw a new trial start process being put into action, the club would like to invite feedback from anyone about this. The new start involves a shorter opening lap coming straight from the bus stop (corner 8) across a new piece of tarmac onto the start line.

If you have any feedback please email compsec@fekc.co.uk

Lets Go Karting

Let’s Go Karting is a nationwide campaign that will give thousands of young people a taste of kart racing for just five pounds.
It is being funded by the Motor Sports Association – the governing body of UK motor sport – to provide karts, equipment and instructors at locations throughout the UK. The scheme will enable young people to experience the thrills of karting without having to make the financial commitment of purchasing their own equipment. The nominal charge of just £5 per person makes it accessible to any person, from any background.
Forest Edge Kart Club is one of 16 clubs taking part is this scheme, and currently have a Honda Cadet and Mini Max kart avaialble for use.
If you are interested please contact Carole Parsons on 01258 451097.
