Senior TKM Heavy Class

It was great to see a large grid of TKM drivers at the October meeting, we hope to see you again in November. The club would also like to extend a big thank you to all of those TKM drivers who assisted in the packing away of the track barriers. This was really appreciated at the end of a long and sometimes challenging day!! Thanks to you all

The popularity of the TKM senior class has increased at Forest Edge over the last couple of racing meetings and as we plan for next year we would like to know if there would be any interest in a heavy class for TKM? We would appreciate any thoughts from you drivers, so just let us know via the web site.

New Start Process

The August race meeting saw a new trial start process being put into action, the club would like to invite feedback from anyone about this. The new start involves a shorter opening lap coming straight from the bus stop (corner 8) across a new piece of tarmac onto the start line.

If you have any feedback please email compsec@fekc.co.uk

Lets Go Karting

Let’s Go Karting is a nationwide campaign that will give thousands of young people a taste of kart racing for just five pounds.
It is being funded by the Motor Sports Association – the governing body of UK motor sport – to provide karts, equipment and instructors at locations throughout the UK. The scheme will enable young people to experience the thrills of karting without having to make the financial commitment of purchasing their own equipment. The nominal charge of just £5 per person makes it accessible to any person, from any background.
Forest Edge Kart Club is one of 16 clubs taking part is this scheme, and currently have a Honda Cadet and Mini Max kart avaialble for use.
